::We went for lunch. The restaurant is well presented and staff attentive. The menu is complex for reasons I cannot figure out. It just seemed to lack ambition. Saying it is a European restaurant means little as being European is quite specific.

::We had been here a couple of times previously and had been impressed by the wine list, but not the food. We came back and were impressed with both: an excellent sommelier recommended the perfect bottles for our occasion, so that everyone in the big party could enjoy the wine; and the food was much better than we remembered, from very well prepared fish to perfectly cooked and seasoned lamb, to exactly right noodle with home made sauce. The deserts, cocktails, and ports were also very appreciated. Service was very good considering we had a long table and slow deciding people.
