::The old cosy campsite was ripped down and built full of luxurious villas to russians some years ago. This lousy parking field, in the middle of industrial area, is all what is left for campers. We did not stay, but continued. I dont understand. Is Imatra focusing only russian daily shopping tourism?

::In the works, clearly, so I'm giving it three stars believing it will improve. Open space, no shelter and no views, nothing nearby. Toilet and such; showers available in the nearby sport facility where the reception also is. Cottages, tent and caravan areas, a single small toilet/kitchen building all behind big sports halls. Could be OK in the future; area is very level and great to park with an RV, good asphalt causeways. Trees should grow for shelter and the area desperately needs facilities for kids and a shower complex on site. Good if you just need a rather quiet place to park with electricity (not cheap though; nearby gas station offers about the same with - more traffic however - but also a 24/7 shop and cafeteria.

::Totally worthless camping! The poor kid who works there has no clue. His boss said that the cabin was cleaned but it was a mess! Go elsewhere.
