  New modern event venue of Helsinki University. Cafeteria included. The premises include several floor in which many kinds of group work can be done. Lower floors take one to UniSports facilities. Technical solutions and AV solutions work in excellent manner.

  Very good venue for many kinds of events. The acoustics are nice, there's ample space, technical solutions like projectors and PA equipment are robust and functional. Have seen this space used as a very casual cafeteria like setting for small presentations but also transformed to a very professional auditorium like space for international symposiums. Extremely versatile. The interior design is unique and attractive and the location is very accessible with public transport.

  Tiedekulmassa voi kuka tahansa istahtaa alas lukemaan, kahvittelemaan ja/tai tekemään töitä läppärillä. Paikat menevät kuitenkin päivisin nopeasti, sillä Tiedekulma on keskellä HY:n kampusta. Niitä voisi olla enemmän, tila on kuitenkin iso. Kahvila on kallis opiskelijabudjetille. Myös kiinnostavaa ohjelmaa aina välillä.

  Just come, plug your laptop and enjoy the place. It's nothing big but not crowded and rather quite, but not dead quiet like in a library. I like it a lot! Also the coffee is only 0.5€

  Fantastic place for students - you could basically live here. Great working spaces, wonderful interior design, atmospheric. Many interesting events going on throughout the day. You can work out in the basement if you get too tired studying. Another bonus - there are free coffee/tea refills !
