::Alko's flagship liquor store in Helsinki. Lots of variety, for example an excellent selection of champagnes. Great service, except on busy days.

::This is the best store in the city. Is you are taking an overnight train I recommend you stop here and get a few things to enjoy during the ride. Also a great place to stop if you are looking to leave with a few Finnish favorites. While traveling we had really good wine and we were able to find it here to bring home. The staff is friendly and ready to make recommendations. They have a really kargebselection of American craft beers if you are looking for that.

::From the central Helsinki Alkoâs, this is the only one that you can find Greek ouzo and Turkish raki all the time. In case anyone is wondering.

::Many beer (though not as many as in specialized stores like Pien) and wine options. Staff is easy to talk with. Looks very clean.

::A wide, however shallow assortment of products. But what can you do, when the State Monopoly rules. The selection of wine brands often raises some question marks. Do they really know what they take into the assortment? The champagne department is standing out as fairly good, but do not expect to find any material for vertical tests here.
