  Our lovely monopoly store, Alko, has spent a lot of time and money to distance themselves from the 80s stiff and arrogant "if you don't buy it here, where you gonna go?" line. This store's a bit hit and miss on that attempt. I've gotten both, really sincerely enthusiastic answers when I've asked my stupid novice questions about wines and then some really "meh" attitude. I'm glad to say my recent visits have been on the more positive side. Their selection is adequate for a store this small and their online-store system lets you order more rare products for a pickup here. Wines have pretty logical ordering; grouped by countries, cheap at the bottom, more expensive on top. They also carry a good selection of liquors, ciders and beers. Prices are pretty stellar thanks to the local taxes, but I guess that's not on them.
