  We stayed at Villa Maija during our one night stop at Hangö. The villa is nicely located close to the main beaches and within walking distance from several restaurants. Breakfast was good, reception friendly and our room was spacious with a private “porch”. Room was decorated in a cosy way with fresh flowers. For a longer stay in Hangö / Hanko, I would recommend planning some daytime excursions like a boat tour to the Bengtskär lighthouse.

  We visited the café at Villa Maija and the cake and coffee was excellent! Super nice also that everything was vegan friendly

  Cute & cozy breakfast place. Some vegan food, but very little.

  Lovely Lovely Lovely. Something different for some one who's fed up with modern settings. Beautiful Villa, and beautiful room with a cute balcony. Good and happy service. Breakfast was very good with different kinds of cheeses and so on. Nothing too much, less is more. I will defenetely come back.

  COZY, LIKAINEN, SMUTSIG Beautiful historic villa in wood but the charm did not last long. As soon as we parked the car we were immediately ignored by the owner wife. At check-in - always with the same dislike - we were told that breakfast would not have been possible before 8.30 because there would have been a group. Before arriving we had also asked to make a reservation for a restaurant but we were not given any answers. Entered in the room we were shocked by the small size, the dust of years and the second-hand furniture. Dirty encrusted in the shower, long hair everywhere, inches of dust on the chandelier. In the morning, during breakfast, the owners smiles, but the desire to smile has passed. Also because we realized that breakfast is for little groups - because the room is insufficient and the chaos is total. It is a B & B and not a hotel. Services are missing as well as quality. The disappointment was enormous. Such a bad management for a structure of this level is not acceptable.
