  The decor inside was soft and calming, there was light piano music in the background and the food was absolutely amazing. My first visit to Helsinki and first to Mizu, will definitely visit again...

  Lovely, cute, small, cozy, most authentic Japanese lunch-restaurant in Helsinki. Very baby- and children friendly (although the bathroom is very small). Run, cooked and served by Japanese with heart-warming, authentic flavours and plating. Fits maximum 16-20 people at once. They serve many different dishes: dons, riceballs, soups, sushi and some really good matcha (and latte). Downside for those with pets, they’re only allowed outside.

  ヘルシンキでは”日本食レストラン”と銘打っていても実際に食べてみると全然違う...という経験をすることが多い中、ここでは本当の日本食がいただけます。巻き寿司に照り焼き丼ぶり、そしてしっとりおいしい抹茶ロールケーキにほうじ茶。どれも優しい味で、日本が恋しくなったときに食べるととても癒やされます。スタッフの皆さんも親切で暖かく、心が落ち着く場所です。

  Absolutely the best Japanese restaurant in Helsinki and Finland. The staff are warm and welcoming, the food is delicious (actual Japanese food, unlike in most so called Japanese restaurants in Helsinki) and the coffee and tea are among the best one can even dream to find anywhere. :) Can't recommend enough!
