::Beautiful forest, but very crowded with tourists and locals. Worth going when the weather is not super nice or outside prime-times, like weekends and mid-days. Remember, it's not worth biking there even if it's only 40 km from Helsinki. There are crazy ups and downs on the way there.

::A lovely forest not far from the city. There are lakes, bogs amd interesting geological features as well. There are lots of buses, so it's easy to get to. There are designated places where you can cook food, but check that there aren't any restrictions if it hasn't rained in a while.

::Very beautiful place for walking. Nice ponds. Be careful about private lands since they are not marked in map and sometimes very hard to recognize. Not suitable for infants because of mosquitoes and long walking! Prepare yourself with good anti mosquito cream! Not that suitable for a picknick with kids.

::Nuuksio has many great views and is easy to access from public transportation. There is one big lake and several small lakes with several nice trails. If you are lucky you might see some good wildlife sometimes as well!

::Would highly recommend. Easily accessible by public transit. Beautiful, clean, lots of different trail options. And a tiny little shop that sells coffee and some foodstuffs at the trailhead! Wonderful place to lose yourself for a day.
