::Purchased a Pelago Bristol a couple of months ago and I haven't had the best experience. A very annoying squeaking / screeching noise had started only after 1 month somewhere around the crank. I have brought it to the shop several times and no one has been able to fix it. The rear fender comes loose after a while and the only way to tighten the one bolt that keeps coming loose is to remove the whole rear wheel. Now my bike rattles and squeaks and has a bubble in the rear tire.... basically I wake up the entire neighbourhood every time I hop on my bike... I think I just had very bad luck...but I won't purchase a Pelago again. But, to end on a brighter note... It is a nice bike, it is comfortable, and they look great, it just needs some quality /maintenance issues re evaluated.

::I bought a Pelago Hanko with few moderations. The bike quality is good but there are some details that have not been thought through. The saddle should have tilt if your purpose is to offer a pleasant biking posture for everyone. The bike has disc brakes without hydraulics and they offer the worst possible braking power of options available. Overall IÂŽm quite happy with the bike, but the service quality is extremely low. I asked if I should buy wider tyres for gravel roads (mainly in the central park) but personnel told me that these would be fine. The tyre was punctured the first time I was cycling in central park on gravel road. The bikes delivery was late, which is understandeble when you have high season. The part that is not understandable is that the employee I called was repeating "yes" like a parrot, but no apologies for the delay. The bike also came with the tyres installed backwards and I havenÂŽt had a reply to my email in one month. Hope the hype lasts, cos the service certainly wonÂŽt keep them a float.
