  It's a good sized indoors subway station with 2 different trains going east (one to Vuosaari and the other to Mellunmäki) and one (in effect, because both eastbound lines, when coming back, are bound to go the same route at least henceforth. Actually they diverge as far east as Itäkeskus, East Centrum) going west downtown, to central Helsinki and beyond. The station has a kiosk (R-Kioski), a candy shop and some other shops. A photobooth, I think.

  One of the busiest metro stations in Helsinki. This is great stop to change if you're heading towards north.

  While there aren't many shops around, the station has good bus connections very close by. Quite a few pubs, too!
