::Great museum! Spent a few hours here, well worth the cost of admission. Learned about some of Finland's history while on holiday! At the moment there is a separate Barbie doll exhibit in progress at the museum for an additional admission fee. We didn't feel the need to see this display but it did appear to be popular with others.

::The Barbie exhibition was surprisingly good! There are so many dolls, some of them dressed by designers, others for movies and specisl occasions. They are really beautiful. They also offer a "buddy" Barbie for kids to take along and Barbies tonbuy in the gift shop. The exhibition is really popular, so expect a lot of people!

::I did not like the museum expositions, but this museum usually organize perfect temporary exhibitions! Last time I was in the exhibition of Renaissance paintings and it made me impression for a long time. Tickets are not cheap, but it is normal in Scandinavian countries. So before entering the museum, look around at the advertisement what kind of exhibitions they offer and evaluate to go or not to go.

::Highly enjoyable and interactive experience. They found ways to tell stories that were new and wonderful. Like the ability to "wear" ancient rings and see them on the hand. Loved it!

::Excellent museum! They have done a good job with the displays and the history. I felt enlightened both by the Finnish history and the historic facts in general. I had just under two hours here, and that was a bit short. I highly recommend this museum.
