  Very cool cathedral both outside and in. Definitely worth the visit as it's free and centrally located.

  A Helsinki landmark, worth visiting regardless of if it is open or closed. The brick building is in traditional Russian church. There are images outside the church you can check out. Walk around, to the back as well, to see the different architectural elements. There is a great view of Helsinki from the front of the church as well.

  We didn't go during opening hours so we could just see it from the outside. Still very majestic, make sure you go on a day it's open. (Not Mondays)

  Very nice architecture and excellent preservation work. A must stop for spirituality or just to view the beautiful architecture design that is unique to Helsinki as an icon.

  There was a beautiful service going on - - Divine Liturgy. Angelic voices! Beautiful Russian Orthodox style architecture and beautiful icons.
