This is an easy ferry journey between Helsinki and Tallinn. Good value for money but why they have to play loud music everywhere the whole journey is beyond me. There is absolutely nowhere which is quiet and I could hear everything over my headphones. Give people a break. Not all of us want to get drunk and party on a lunchtime journey.

They have good music. I wish there was more seating inside the boat. Ended up on the top deck in the cold. The "pop up" shop was stupid. All the jewelry and clothing was very expensive. But in general everything in Europe is. Ladies save your money and book a trip to the USA and you can get the same jewelry and clothing for a fraction of the price.

There's an entrainment area in the front of the ship with a lot of comfortable seating. But make sure you get there soon or all the best places will be gone. There should be a band playing and there's also a dance floor, where people will dance if the music is good.

The Eckerö line, may just seem like another local ferry line making (mostly) trips to Tallinn and back - but Im here to tell you...no, just kidding - it's just a ferry line. Its really the people that make the trip. Specifically the people on the 9am to Tallinn. Seemingly already intoxicated, they enter en mass, and the rowdiest ones head directly for the combination night club/casino?/restaurant and viewing lounge at the front of the boat. Usually, a half hour or so after embarking on the two hour tour to Tallinn, a band of some kind graces the (no doubt heartily christened) stage, and plays some upbeat rock covers (House of the Rising Sun, Hit the Road Jack, Jambalaya). Then the real magic will happen, and by real magic, I mean the dancing. That's right, groups of people (usually of a certain age) will get up and shake a tail feather, or take a lovely partner dance spin round the floor, at 9am. All the while, the drinks are flowing out of the oval shaped bar, and with the gentle rocking of the boat, you'll feel on the low end slightly intoxicated whether or not you've had a drink, and on the high end, like you've just stepped into a surrealist exercise about the meaning of life or something. *Bonus points if you take the boat during the winter and white knuckle it as it breaks its way through the sheets of ice covering the Baltic sea. Props to the bartender for one of the best (if not the only) bloody Mary's I've had this side of the nordics. Also, for sassing me when I asked for it to be spicy. "Its spicy enough," she said. She was right - it was perfect. By the time you arrive in Tallinn, you'll think to yourself, why would I get off this boat at all? It has everything I need. Just kidding, but that would be a nice way to end this review, wouldn't it?
