  Is a beautiful place well preserved, in summer several events..opera, concerts etc.

  Great medieval castle with interesting history between two northern powers, Sweden and Novgorod, later Russia. Definitely worth seeing, if visiting the city.

  Visited Olavinlinna for our friends wedding and were super impressed by the fortress! Lots of interesting corners to explore!

  I was visiting Savonlinna Opera festival. The performance was talented, the area was nice, everything was working. Not an easy access area!
